The Invitation of First Blooms, Fine Art Print

The winds of Spring came rolling in with flower scented breezes, sunshine, and the first blooms opening around me. So much beauty in the tiniest places, almost unnoticed, but deeply beautiful… deeply meaningful when we take the time to notice.

I took this sweet inspiration back with me to the studio and set out to depict the feeling I received from these first blooms… it all felt like a beckoning, an invitation to feel good, safe, and hopeful.

This work includes lots of ethereal blues and greens, along with pink ( a nod to the gorgeous magnolia trees heavy with buds) . Deep indigo and payne’s gray keep the contrast going, while copper sprinkles, and white flowers bring you into all the magic.

May this piece remind you of the invitation of Spring’s beauty … a time of renewal and rebirth.
