Each flower is picked from my garden and carefully pressed and preserved by me. I find so much pleasure in preserving these beautiful gifts & creating these little magical worlds of fairytale and nature connection. The practice of creating artistic scenes with pressed flowers is known as Oshibana. Originating in 16th century Japan, this art form entails arranging pressed flowers to form a composition. I see the magic in the natural world and these works are meditation on that beauty.  My hope is to share this with you so that you may feel joy, calm, and the gentle healing of this world we call home.
