At The Center
All of these emerged from water that I collected from a beautiful little creek near a cabin (see cabin in photo) where I like to stay and from drops of ink placed around natural materials. These are all on watercolor paper that I have sealed with acrylic and placed onto a wood substrate. Each of them tells their own little story. These were so sweet to make. It felt like I was talking to the little forest by the creek and translating messages from the wild ones.
This particular piece may be my favorite. I feel free when I look at it, and I felt a sense of flowy freedom while I was making it. Free like the water and the air.
