Born in Softness
I recently traveled to the mountains and was inspired by all of the Spring Beauties and other enchantments I found there… glittering rocks full of mica, billions of butterflies soaring around me as I dipped my feet into a mountain stream…. I absorbed this potent energy and took it back to a little cabin I had rented and began to work on this piece.
This work includes lots of delicate greens, along with pastel pinks and Spring yellows… the essence of Spring in the mountains infused into this piece like a sweet newborn bloom…. born in softness…
