Sky Full of Song, Fine Art Print

from $16.00

The energy captured in this piece is truly unique – it exudes a sense of calmness, grounding, vitality, and inspiration. Seed pods and flowers dance and play! A fair maiden lays sweetly in a bed of flowers accepting falling pieces of stars and song that are dropped by the full moon….absorbing them into her spirit. Moths fly from petals to stars as they bring their own music to the moonlit garden.

As a songwriter, this piece is particularly dear to me. I wanted to create a piece that included my love for music. The under layers of the piece are made of vintage sheet music - echoing the harmonies of bygone tunes, recalling lullabies, moonlit serenades, and tales of celestial romances.

This artwork encourages you to pause, appreciate, and lose yourself in the beauty of the natural world.

I felt so much happiness when I was making this piece! I’m sure a bit of that magic made it’s ways into this work, ensuring it will bring some magic to your home as well.

The practice of creating artistic scenes with pressed flowers is known as Oshibana. Being a fan of Japanese culture and history, I find great joy in participating in this tradition. Originating in 16th century Japan, this art form entails arranging pressed flowers to form a composition.
