A dance of flowers! A Full Moon!

This piece features cherry blossoms, red buckeye flowers, lilacs, dogwood, buttercups, phlox, and queen anne's lace. The Spring fae played with me while I collected and pressed the treasures found in this piece. The full moon sends out beams of lunar light to feed the soul of the garden.

These flowers were grown in my garden and picked by me. I then press them to use in these beautiful floral pieces.

The flowers are placed onto acid free, neutral ph multi media board using a neutral PH adhesive. I then add line work using gold or white paint pens to finish of the design. This makes them very different from the normal floral collage. As a mixed media artist, I love to incorporate little swirls and twirls, leaves, and other symbols into these pieces to mimic the garden's spirit and soul. This piece features a paper full moon that sings to the night garden.

All of the materials used in my artwork are always collected, pressed, and preserved by me.

I am very careful to use only sustainable and best practices. All pieces are shipped using recyclable or compostable materials only. This particular piece does not have any resin or medium over top of the flowers so the petals are exposed. Therefore, it is advisable to keep these displayed behind the provided glass and out of sunlight to preserve their beauty for more years to enjoy! :-)
