"Delights of Dawn"
A beautiful blend of watercolors dropped onto a canvas and translated into a scene of serenity.
I was in between larger works and wanted to play around with some new watercolors I had recently purchased. I also had some watercolor ground that I wanted to try, so i placed that onto a board and later dropped watercolors all around with lots of whimsy. The effects were gorgeous as the colors intertwined, but didn’t blend… I immediately saw a beautiful garden unfolding. Adding in more ink and some line work, the scene revealed itself. A pretty garden full of color!
