ABOUT THE PIECE
This listing is for my original mixed media collage piece "Dreams of May".
It is a 10x8 inch mixed media collage on birch wood panel. This sweet little collage features dried flowers that I personally pick and press (responsibly), vintage botanicals, paper butterflies, skeleton leaves, and designs cut out of yupo paper. I layered over that with paint, papers and then added line work. The flowers in this piece are dried Eryngos and Hellebores and Daisy. Intuitive journaling rounds out the special charm of this piece. Little messages of love, calm, and hope are tucked away under the layers.
I created this piece in May of 2022 and was so inspired by the season.
I hope that this sweet little scene entices you to relax and savor all the little intricate things that nature brings us.
