Luna moths represent transformation, the divine feminine, spiritual enlightenment, inner guidance, intuition, adaptability, and connection with nature.
To create this piece, I laid down layers of leaves and branches that I had pressed over the past year and let them create the initial scene of the tree leaves. It created a beautiful complex array of images that I then translated into this work. I painted the Luna Moth into the scene to bring a sense of freedom and movement into this boldly vibrant scene.
